Hardware Tester, Test Engineer (M/F)
Salzburg, Austria, Full-time

Job Description

Next to every great hardware developer there is an equally skilled tester. Testing plays an important role in the development of a product. It’s your job to perform sequence and functionality testings based on requirement specifications. You’ll work closely with product designers and developers to understand the key features of our product and what it is meant to do. You will manage and create test strategies, investigate defects, and write problem reports.
The goal is to resolve defects and improve the quality and durability of the finished product.

Responsibilities

  • Strong logical and analytical capacity
  • Creation, planning, and implementation of test cases
  • Construction of laboratory tests and measurements
  • Performance of process and functional testing
  • Optimization of mechatronic processes of machines
  • Identification, reporting, and tracking of bugs
  • Close cooperation with our development team
  • Documentation of test results

Skills

  • Preciseness and a sense of responsibility
  • A good understanding of the development process
  • A good technical knowledge and hardware experience
  • The ability to work in a team and as an individual

Desirable additional skills

  • Background in engineering is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge in mechanical or electronic engineering

The basic salary according to ME-KV is between € 1,393 and € 3,158 for full-time-time employees. We offer a market-based experience-based overpayment.
